Hans discovered the guitar at a young age and played in various bands. He discovered rockabilly at The Red Hot Cats, and together with Klaas he founded DALTON4.

KLAAS

Double Bass

After years of visiting rockabilly festivals all over Europe, Klaas became fascinated by the double bass in this music style. He joined DALTON4 to focus more on uptempo rockabilly, after a previous successful period with The Red Hot Cats.

HENK

Drums

Henk started his drummer life at the age of 15 and has a broad musical background. Despite his diversity in genres, his love for rockabilly always remained. In DALTON4 he can fully live out his passion for rockabilly.

ROBERT

Robert’s musical journey began 25 years ago with guitar and vocals. After forming his first band, he later switched to double bass and then back to vocals and guitar. Eventually he found his true passion in rockabilly and joined DALTON4.

They all share the same passion: rockabilly music. DALTON4 mainly plays songs from Restless, The Wise Guyz, The Go Getters, Carl Perkins, Johnny Burnette, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and many many others. A well balanced mix of songs from the past and the present, with excursions into blues and rock music. The band is formed in november 2021. Rockabilly is one of the earliest styles of rock and roll music. It dates back to the early 1950s in the United States, especially the South. As a genre it blends the sound of Western musical styles such as country with that of rhythm and blues, leading to what is considered “classic” rock and roll. Some have also described it as a blend of bluegrass with rock and roll.The term “rockabilly” itself is a portmanteau of “rock” and “hillbilly”.
